Technical Details

How often are the exchange rates updated?

Exchange rates are automatically refreshed every 60 seconds (1 minute). The last update time is displayed below the current rate.

What happens if the exchange rate service is unavailable?

If the Frankfurter API service is unavailable, the converter will:

  • Continue to function using the last known exchange rate
  • Generate mock data for the historical chart to maintain functionality
  • Display a notification about the service interruption

What format should I use when entering amounts?

You can enter numbers with or without decimal points. The converter will automatically:

  • Accept only valid numerical inputs
  • Format the converted amount to two decimal places
  • Update the conversion in real-time as you type

For the most accurate conversion:
